London at Christmas

London is one of my favourite places to visit. There’s just something thats still so exciting about a trip to London, however many times you visit. Before this November, I had never been to London at Christmas (shocking I know). I had always wanted to go but just never got round to it. There’s something about the lights and atmosphere that makes it so magical. We had a few places on our list that we wanted to visit and then we also ended up accidentally stumbling across a few other places.

Covent Garden was the first place on our list to visit. Every year I've seen photos of it on Instagram and always thought how beautiful the decorations look.

After (aimlessly) wandering, we came across Somerset House. This wasn't a place we were intending to visit but I'm so glad we stumbled across it! It has such a beautiful ice rink and tree. The Christmas tree was definitely my favourite I've seen this year.

After walking around London to visit some of the main sights, we got the tube to Oxford Street. We had a quick pitstop at Nando's and then walked along Oxford Street and Regents Street to look at all of the Christmas lights - they were incredible!

Harrods is also a place I have always wanted to see at Christmas! It looks so magical.

London is definitely one of my favourite places I have visited at Christmas and I will definitely be making sure to go back next year!
