Travel: Rome

In June, myself and three friends flew to Rome for a few days. Rome had been at the top of my list of places to visit since I was a teenager and I was so excited to explore Rome! Everything in Rome was just so beautiful. Around every corner there was something else to see. Getting around Rome was really easy as the underground was simple to use and it made getting to the places we wanted to visit much easier than walking or hiring a car.

The weather was incredible the entirety of our holiday and the temperature was in the high 30s most days - although some days it was a little bit too hot!

If you're planning a trip to Rome, you have to visit the Colosseum, the Vatican City and the Trevi Fountain. There are lots of tours around the Colosseum and Vatican City that you can book online before you fly out. It's reasonably inexpensive and a great way to find out about the local history!
